Wu Jiling, Vice Chairman of China Sewing Machinery Association, and his delegation visited the leading company for inspection and guidance

On the afternoon of February 29, Wu Jiling, Vice Chairman of the China Sewing Machinery Association, and his delegation visited Milin Group’s Taizhou Leading Company for a visit and investigation.

Milin Group’s Executive Director Lin Yanhong, Group Deputy General Manager and General Manager of Taizhou Leading Import and Export Company Lin Meixi and Deputy General Manager Jin Yaping warmly received Vice Chairman Wu Jiling and his delegation.

Vice Chairman Wu Jiling visited the leading company and conducted an in-depth investigation and research on the products and business conditions of the Milin Group.

Then, the leaders of the leading company reported to the leaders of the association on the theme of “focusing on specialization, specialization and innovation, gathering new advantages in the industry, and expanding overseas markets with innovative thinking – meeting new challenges under the new situation”.

In recent years, due to the epidemic, the Sino-US trade war, the depreciation of currencies and foreign exchange controls in many countries, the Red Ocean crisis, and the involution of overseas markets, my country’s sewing machine exports have been greatly impacted, and the industry has continued to be in a sluggish state for some time.

Under such circumstances, Milin Group continuously strengthens and improves its core competitiveness in technology, service, marketing, quality, reputation and expertise.

It selects industry-specific and innovative products from the source and establishes a high-quality product supply chain; it assists customers in creating smart sewing factories on the client side, and is committed to enabling customers to develop towards the goals of intelligence, efficiency and standardization, get rid of dependence on workers’ skills, improve production efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

Vice Chairman Wu Jiling analyzed the background and current situation of the continuous transfer of labor-intensive industries such as clothing production in China to foreign countries, and pointed out that my country’s entire industrial chain of sewing machinery and parts is very mature, and is in an advantageous position in international competition, which is difficult to be transferred to other countries.

In 2023, affected by the complex international situation, the demand for sewing equipment in the foreign market was delayed.

At the same time, he believed that there are opportunities in crisis, and encouraged foreign trade companies such as Milin Group to enhance their confidence, continuously improve their core competitiveness, be brave to meet challenges, and be good at seizing opportunities, so that they can still find their own market space in this world full of variables.

Vice Chairman Wu Jiling praised the fact that Milin Group had sent multiple batches of business personnel to foreign markets to develop business and provide after-sales support at the beginning of the new year, and that the export volume in the first two months had increased significantly compared with the same period last year, making a good start.

He also made predictions at the meeting about the foreign trade export situation this year, predicting the process of the shift in overseas monetary policy. With the efforts of domestic policies to stabilize growth, the industry’s exports are expected to recover moderately in 2024. At the same time, he recognized the business model and direction of Milin Group’s product selection, clothing, shoes and hats and other production line solution integration, and highly affirmed Milin Group’s integrity management and reputation building.

Vice Chairman Wu Jiling believes that there are many factories with unique product characteristics in China, but they lack marketing and export capabilities. Companies with business models like Milin are very needed to cooperate, complement each other’s advantages, empower each other, and promote China’s high-quality products to the international market.
